This summer we got to go to Texas because of Blake's job with Vivint. He sales door to door in the crazy weather 6 days a week. He's been out in crazy heat, tornados, tropical storms...you name it, he's sold in it. He's my hero. While he is out workin his little tooshie off, I get to do pretty much whatever I want. There are a bunch of other wives here with me, and we get together and do something fun almost everyday. Monday we have a planning meeting for the rest of the week. We usually have two pool days, a craft day, an outing day, and one or two free days. We try to keep busy. It gets pretty boring when you just sit home alone in your apartment everyday!
We have done some pretty fun things! We have three huge malls pretty close to us, we go to hobby lobby for all our crafts, we go to Costco together, we have two swimming pools in our complex, we've been to a couple of museums, we made our own shirts for the fourth of July, and if the boys hit their weekly goal we get to go out on Saturday night with them. That is the highlight of my week...getting to go out with my sweet hubby. Oh how I love him.
About two or three weeks after getting here, I was getting lonely (already) so I talked Blake into letting me get a puppy. We looked and looked and finally found our sweet little Libby. She had three (or four) sisters. She was the smallest, most mellow one, so she was the winner. She is growing so fast! She is four months old and has already tripled her weight. She got her last set of shots a few days ago, so she gets to go outside for the first time in two weeks!! We are so excited. She is going to LOVE it!!!
Okay, here are our pictures from our LONG road trip and some activities and things we've done :)
